About Mazunte Bodega
Originally conceived in 2010, the story of Mazunte is rooted in exploration, courage, passion and PEOPLE. It began with a yearlong research expedition throughout southern Mexico that paved the way for our first taqueria in 2013. In the decade since, we have grown our operations to include catering and events, a mercado, wholesale salsa production, and another taqueria in the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
Mazunte Bodega is the next chapter, reflecting our latest journeys (spanning more than half of Mexico), respecting the culture we have worked tirelessly to build, fully embracing the community of Lexington and, most importantly, honoring the unparalleled group of people who have dedicated their blood, sweat and tears to get us here.
Mazunte Bodega is not an expansion. It is an EVOLUTION.
